Main Line Educational Services provides ISEE testing to applicants for grades 5 through 12.  Most  independent boarding and day schools In the US and abroad accept the ISEE test results as part of the Admissions process.

The ISEE consists of five sections, timed, using a separate answer sheet:

  • Verbal and quantitative reasoning tests,
  • Reading comprehension and mathematics achievement tests, and an
  • Essay section using a prompt.

The results are presented in the Individual Student Report (ISR) as Scaled Scores, Stanines, and Independent School percentiles. The report is sent to the applicant's choice of schools along with a copy of the essay. Parents receive the ISR score report only.
