Adult Assessments

Assessments for Adults Seeking Accommodations

MLES can usually provide documentation for adults (above the 12th grade) with a previously diagnosed disability who require special accommodations when taking the SAT, GRE, MCAP, or other standardized tests.  Please allow at least four weeks post-assessment for the report to be ready when scheduling. There may be time, age or test restrictions.  All appointments will be made with a psychologist who will set up a free pre-assessment conference to discuss each person’s specific case.  Then the client and psychologist will agree to an assessment goal, set up the fees and schedule test dates.  Typically, the psychologist will prefer meeting with the client four times: pre and post conferences and a minimum of two scheduled test dates.  Please contact MLES to discuss your specific case.

Fees

Fees for adult assessments vary with the amount of time testing and the complexity of the assessment. Fees can be paid by check or credit card at the time of the assessment.  Special fee arrangements can be discussed with the psychologist prior to testing.

  • TIP: If the assessment is for a college student, discuss a sliding scale with the psychologist.
